There's not much Natalie Ismiel doesn't know about hair removal. She was 8 when her mother created Nad's Natural Hair Removal Gel for her and is now Nad's resident expert in hair removal.

Alternatively, check our list of frequently asked questions:
The gel is thick and hard to spread - is this normal?
In order for the Facial Wand to work well on the face it needs to be a fairly thick consistency. The gel itself also adapts to the surrounding temperature so you may find it will thicken in the colder months. The gel will soften by rubbing the Wand between your hands for 10-20 seconds. Alternatively, place the Wand in a cup of hot water for 2 minutes, tip facing upwards, water level no higher than the ® symbol. Subsequently apply the gel slowly to the area you wish to treat and it will melt with your body heat as it goes on.
Important - DO NOT place the wand in the microwave.
The gel has changed in appearance - what has happened?
The gel is affected by humidity. If it is stored in the bathroom it will change in appearance. If water, steam or foreign materials enter the gel, they will also cause a change.
Why was none of my hair removed?
Hair may not come out if:
- it is not at least 3-5mm long
- the area is not clean and free from makeup and moisturisers
- the area is not dried after using the cleansing wipes
- too thick a layer of gel is applied – it needs to be thin
- you do not pull off the strip in the opposite direction of hair growth
- you pull off the cotton strip upwards rather than close to the skin
- the skin was not held taut
What is in the Nad’s Facial Wand?
The Nad’s Facial Wand contains the Nad’s Natural Hair Removal Gel in a streamline applicator. Nadine Ismiel created this product using the Natural Gel that her mother, Sue, created.
